Target: ·Understanding how AI tools (e.g. Datapetal, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) can support FMEA facilitation ·Identifying which FMEA process steps are particularly well suited for AI support ·Efficient use of AI for idea generation, root cause analysis, action planning and documentation ·Practical application: Setting up AI-supported FMEA facilitation using real-life scenarios as examples ·Discussion of limitations, opportunities and data protection aspects when using AI

Description: Practical mix of expert input, demonstrations, group exercises and interactive AI applications. Contents: - Basics of FMEA and the role of moderation - Introduction to current AI tools for quality management and FMEA - Use of Datapetal: how it works, advantages and best practices - Use of generative AI (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot) to support ·- Structuring FMEA team meetings ·- Formulating error causes and measures ·- Automated documentation and report generation - Live demo: AI-supported FMEA facilitation in practice - Limitations, validation and responsibilities in AI support - Discussion: How is AI changing the role of FMEA facilitation?

Target groups: ·FMEA moderators and coordinators ·Quality engineers, process developers, project managers ·Specialists and managers from development, production and quality assurance

Prior knowledge: Basic knowledge of FMEA methodology (AIAG-VDA 2019) is required. Prior knowledge of AI tools is not necessary. Previous experience in moderation is an advantage.

Note: Organisational requirements for proper implementation shall be agreed in advance in a timely manner.
